STEP 7 - BUGS

broken image

Bugs bite…

(Literally AND Figuratively)!

Parents are often forced to choose between letting their kids’ sensitive skin get attacked by mosquitoes or dousing them in bug spray full of nasty toxins and chemicals.

Enter THE OUTDOOR BLEND. It’s full of oils that naturally repel insects. In fact, one of the main functions Essential Oils perform for the plants they come from is PROTECTION—especially from predators like bugs.

Instead of harsh insect repellents that can irritate skin and are toxic to the environment, this blend is gentle and won’t increase your carbon footprint.

THE OUTDOOR BLEND comes packaged two different ways:

• As a 15 ml oil in a regular bottle

• As a 30 ml plastic spray bottle for easy application.

Both versions contain Fractionated Coconut Oil, so you can apply to clothing or skin.

Counselors, make sure you stock up on OUTDOOR BLEND because there’s always that one camper who forgets the bug spray. (And even if nobody forgets, you can still share!)

After all, who wants their cabin to stink like conventional insect repellent? The herbaceous, woody scent of this Essential Oil Blend is MUCH more pleasant (and a good fit for the natural smells of Summer Camp). You can even diffuse it on your porch or soak a cotton ball with oil and rub around doorways and windows to ward off your six-and-eight-legged invaders.

But what if a camper’s already been bitten? Make sure to send along some Bug Bite Relief, in the form of this easy-to-make roller blend.
